A quiet space dedicated to poetry reading and writing

Poetry by Kyle Neo

About the Workshop

I am hosting a quiet space for poetry reading and writing, a workshop where words and silence hold equal weight. Whether you write daily or have never put pen to paper, you are welcome here.

Throughout the session, I will be reciting poems from my two books, Who Is Asking to Be Born, Again? and Between My Throat and These Truths, alongside moments of quiet reflection and heartfelt conversation. Together, we will explore healing, queerness, Buddhism, love, grief, forgiveness, and the beautiful complexities of being human.

There will also be time for questions about the books, the writing process, or simply life itself. We will read, we will write, and we will sit with the spaces in between.

  • What to bring: Bring your pen along (paper and tea are provided).
  • Admission: Donation based.

Come with a line, a feeling, or nothing at all. There is no wrong way to begin.

Date: August 21, 2026

Time: 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM
