Opening of Chiang Mai Design Week 2025

December 6 – 14 Art Toy CNX at Lanna Folklife Museum – 10am until 10pm (part of Chiang Mai Design Week 2025) free entry – This year’s event features an open call for Art Toy artists from across the country, along with a curated selection of talented creators specially invited to participate. Under the concept: “Land: Masks of Art” Land. Mask. Artist. “Every land holds a story. Every artist wears a mask. And Art Toys are vessels revealing identities rooted in one’s origin.” And there will be workshops on creating Art Toys, covering both digital design and hand-sculpting techniques. Call 083-145-5691

December 6 Stick: A Miniature Art Show Opening Night at Great Shot Bar CNX – 7pm – Join us for a unique event, Stick: The Miniature Art Show! Stick is an exhibit where over 100 artists have submitted nearly 1000 pieces of art all created on three inch sticky notes. See the greatest quantity of art possible in one room, each piece for sale for 300 baht. December 6 – 14 Wit’s Collection Showcase at Lanna Folklife Museum – 4pm until 10pm – Wit’s Collection is pleased to present a distinctive collection of recycled metal sculptures and accessories by Thai artist Prakit Seehawong. Who has long studied primitive art from Africa and Asia, and was particularly inspired by all forms of iron work. Call 081-884-1466
